Additional Comments:

This was our first visit!  We have been talking about eating here for a while and we just never have.  Every time we eat at The Basketcase, we comment on how wonderful it smells.  Thankfully, Josh suggested it again and we decided to go.
The atmosphere is completely different than I imagined.  It’s dimly lit and actually has a class about it that sets it apart from your average restaurant.  We went right at 7:00pm.  There were several tables seated and the majority of the people were business professionals (suits drinking wine).
Our server was very kind and she definitely knew their products.  She wasn’t very attentive though.  Josh’s pizza was supposed to have mushrooms on it and it didn’t.  The only thing Ethan ordered was soup and it wasn’t delivered.  As a family, we don’t eat until everyone has their food.  Since they brought our meals out separately, we were patiently waiting for them to deliver Ethan’s so we could start eating.  After about 5 minutes, we were able to get someone’s attention to let them know we needed the soup.  Once we started eating,  Josh ran out of water so I poured him some of mine.  Then we were both out a little while after that.  Neither of us will eat if we don’t have something to drink so we just sat there as our food got cold.  Our server, nor any of the other servers for that matter, checked on our drinks.  We did eventually get refills but we were empty no less than 10 minutes.  Pre-bussing is a big thing for me too.  That wasn’t done.
The food……holy cow….the food was absolutely delicious!!!  Ethan’s soup, Emmy’s burger and our pizzas were just wonderful.  The crust was thin so I didn’t have to worry about overdoing it on carbs.  The pizza ingredients were fresh (except the mushrooms).  This is a place you definitely need to check out if you haven’t been!!

Salad I added to my meal- balsamic dressing

Greek Pesto pizza- kalamata olives, artichokes, tomato and feta

Emmy......a cheeseburger and fries, of course

Josh's custom pizza with pepperoni, olives and the forgotten mushrooms thrown on top

Ethan's white bean & chicken chili
